When you first unroll your new rug, you may notice some creases, bunching, and folded corners in the pile. These waves and imperfections will flatten out within 2-3 weeks as you begin to use the rug regularly. To help expedite this process, you can try several techniques:

Back Rolling: Unroll the rug, then roll it back up with the backside facing up. Let it sit in this reversed position for a day or two, or until the creases have smoothed out.

Heavy Objects: Place heavy furniture or other objects on the affected areas for a day or two, or until the rug has flattened. If the corners are sticking up, curl them back and position heavy objects on them in the opposite direction.

Heat: As a last resort, you can place the rug over a cleared concrete or similar surface, such as a driveway or sidewalk, during dry, sunny conditions. Allow the rug to absorb the sun's heat for up to two hours, or longer if needed, to help flatten the creases.

Blow Dryer: If a large concrete surface with optimal sunlight is not accessible, you can flip the rug over and use a hair dryer on a medium setting to heat up the creases. Hold the dryer 7-12 inches away from the rug, moving it side to side, as excessive heat can sometimes cause the backing to melt.
