When you first unroll your new rug, you may notice some creases, bunching, and folded corners. These are a normal part of the shipping and handling process and will flatten out within 2-3 weeks as you begin to use the rug. You can use a few simple techniques to help speed up the flattening process:

Back Rolling: Unroll the rug, then roll it back up with the backside facing up. Let it sit in this position for a day or two, or until the waves have smoothed out.

Heavy Objects: Placing heavy furniture or objects on the affected areas for a day or two can also help flatten the rug.

Heat: As a last resort, you can place the rug over a cleared concrete or similar surface and allow it to absorb the sun's heat for up to 2 hours. Alternatively, you can use a hair dryer on a medium setting, holding it 7 to 12 inches away from the rug and moving it side to side, to gently heat up the creases.

To maintain the rug's longevity, we recommend regular vacuuming and spot-treating any mild stains with a carpet cleaner.
