When you unroll your new rug, you may observe some creases and bunching in the pile and around the corners. These waves will flatten within 2-3 weeks as you begin using the rug. To help flatten your rug, try the following techniques: Back Rolling - roll the carpet out, then roll it back up with the backside up, and let it sit for a day or two; Heavy Objects - lay a piece of heavy furniture or objects on affected areas for a day or two; Heat - place the rug over a cleared concrete or similar area in direct sunlight for up to two hours; Blow Dryer - flip the rug over and use a hair dryer on a medium setting to heat up the creases, holding it 7-12 inches away and moving it side to side.
